Azerbaijan and Turkey will cooperate in the Field of Public Services and E-Government
On June 24, 2019, within the framework of the UN Public Service Forum organized in Baku, a Declaration of Intent on the Delivery of Public Services and E-Government Cooperation was signed between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey, and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency.
Within the framework of the Declaration of Intent, it is envisaged to promote the delivery of public services and e-government cooperation and exchange of experiences by enhancing skills among partner organizations, as well as to share advanced experiences, exchange experts and conduct joint investigations. Moreover, human resource capacity building will be provided through expert consultations and technical assistance, education programs, trainings, specialized courses and other tools.
The partners underlined the importance of this document in the direction of enhancing cooperation and fraternal relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, as well as delivering public services and developing cooperation in the field of e-government.
On June 24-26, the 2019 United Nations Public Service Forum has been jointly organized by the United Nations and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan at Heydar Aliyev Center.
The Forum is the first UN event being organized in Azerbaijan, in the field of public services.
