The "E-Government Development Center" represented at the AICT 2018 conference
On October 17-19, 2018 employees of the "E-Government Development Center" public legal entity, subordinate to the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated at the 12th “International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies – 2018” (AICT 2018), held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
This year's 12th conference was jointly organized by Kazakh-British Technical University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Suleyman Demirel University, ADA University and supported by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
Presented articles covered issues on latest technologies, standardization, product application, ongoing research projects, and ICT application. By involving different researchers, academics and experts, the conference aims to share, exchange and apply the ICT innovations in science and research, business administration, industry, management, health and social sciences.
At the conference, the Center's employees presented the results of the research on the "Natural Language Processing for the Azerbaijani Language". The main purpose of the research is to automatically determine parts of the speech of the words from Azerbaijani language texts by applying Machine Learning methods.
The AICT 2018 Conference brings together hundreds of scientists from different countries who conduct new and qualitative research on ICT in education, science and research, management, security, healthcare, state structure and communication. The main purpose of the conference is to gather scientists and engineers from different corners of the globe around common interests and problems in the single geographical location.
"E-Government Development Center" is a public legal entity established by the Decree No 1885 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 14, 2018, and is a single entity combining the electronized fields in the country.
