Delegation of the State Agency on a trip to West Sumatra province of Indonesia.
On November 16-19, 2019, a delegation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan were on a business trip to the Republic of Indonesia. The trip was realized within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the State Agency and Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia and through the formation process of “one-stop-shop” centres serving to public and private sector based on ASAN Service.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the current state of public services and identify needs in Western Sumatra province of Indonesia.
During the visit, meetings were held with high-rank officials from Western Sumatra and there have been trips to various organizations.
On the first day of the visit, there was held a meeting between the delegation of the State Agency and governor of the Western Sumatra province, Irwan Prayitno. The meeting focused on the successful cooperation between the State Agency and Indonesia in the field of public services. The governor recalled his visit to ASAN Service in July 2019 and noted how impressed he was with the activities of the centre and mentioned that delegations from various organizations of Western Sumatra province were going to visit Azerbaijan to attend training held by ASAN Service. Additionally, Indonesian part emphasized the importance of the visit by the officials of the State Agency within the framework of the application of ASAN Service model in Padang city of Western Sumatra, as well as they expressed gratitude for the support in the field of sharing Azerbaijan`s advanced experience.
Through the visit, there were meetings with the director of Investing and “one-stop-shop” centre, Head of Taxation Service of the Province, as well as representatives from the Public Service office.
Parties reached a mutual agreement on the acceleration of the implementation process, especially about the events on the formation of services.
