ASAN service interests Kyrgyzstan


During their visit to Azerbaijan, a delegation led by Bakit Torobayev, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited "ASAN xidmət" Center No. 7 in Baku. This visit was arranged within the framework of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission meeting on economic and humanitarian cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Salmanov, welcomed distinguished guests and provided detailed information about the activities of "ASAN xidmət" centers. He highlighted significant achievements in effective public administration, emphasizing increased transparency and the application of modern innovations. The delegation was also informed about the activities carried out by the State Agency in the field of digital government, support for startup ecosystems, and social innovations.
Additionally, it was noted that the State Agency was awarded the United Nations Public Service Prize for “Improvement of Public Service Delivery” in 2015 and the UN Special Award for promoting innovation in the digital public service delivery in 2019.

In the meeting, the Kyrgyz side proposed initiating the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to implement the experience of "ASAN xidmət" and the State Agency's e-government expertise in the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the activities of "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, "Bilim Baku" Center, and "ABAD".
To conclude the visit, the guests were presented keepsakes.
