Sessions kicked off at the international forum organized by "ASAN service".
The sessions of the International Forum titled“Path to Cutting-edge Governance: Moving Towards Sustainable and Innovative Public Services” which was organized by State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAPSSI) took place at Gulustan Palace.
The first session covered the topic centered on the application of innovations in public service delivery to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. The session was moderated by the international expert and the former Head of the Department of Innovations in Public Servcices of the UN Economic and Social Department, Mr. John-Mary Kauzya. Mr. Ulvi Mehdiyev, the Chairman of the SAPSSI; Iurie Turkanu, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova; Wilson Muruli Mukasa, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda; Akbar Tashkulov, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Mohammad Sharif, the Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Technology of the Republic of Maldives; Askar Jambakin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Mohammad Imanuddin, Chief Advisor to the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms of the Republic of Indonesia; Eli David, the Executive Director of "StartupBlink" made their speeches during the session.
The speeches and discussions of the session were centered on the importance of applying innovations both in the current period and in the future in order to achieve citizen satisfaction with the provision of public services.
