Tajikistan to implement “ASAN service” model

A delegation from the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan recently concluded a visit to the Republic of Tajikistan, with a strategic aim to evaluate the ongoing efforts in Tajikistan towards establishing a comprehensive center for public services, modeled after Azerbaijan's successful "ASAN service".

Throughout the visit, meetings were held with key entities, including the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the State Tax Service, and the Representative Office of the World Bank in Tajikistan.

The representatives from the State Agency engaged in discussions with Zavki Zavkizoda, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting involved an extensive exchange of views, reflecting on the outcomes of the delegation's initial visit to Tajikistan in 2022. Future directions for collaboration were explored, with the Minister expressing a keen interest in comprehending the "ASAN service" concept and the digital solutions applied within.

Simultaneously, a preliminary agreement was successfully reached between the State Agency and the relevant Tajikistani agency, paving the way for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. This memorandum is poised to outline and formalize the cooperation between the two nations in the areas of public services and social innovations, marking a significant step toward the implementation of the "ASAN service" model in Tajikistan.
