Innovative Solutions of “ASAN service” in the focus of “InnoWeek 2023”
A delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, the Chairperson of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is currently in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, for a significant visit.
The visit, extended through an invitation from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is centered around participation in the esteemed "InnoWeek 2023" event and the facilitation of bilateral meetings.
The forum saw participation from approximately 20 representatives hailing from 8,000 countries and international organizations.
During the opening ceremony, Chairperson Ulvi Mehdiyev provided comprehensive insights into the "ASAN service" and various other initiatives of the state agency. He underscored the Azerbaijani citizen's pivotal role in the nation's policies under President Ilham Aliyev's guidance, emphasizing the establishment of "ASAN Service" centers as a crucial reform in this direction.
Noteworthy attendees at the opening session included the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, alongside other distinguished officials.
As part of the visit, the State Agency delegation got acquainted with the operations of the "INNO" Technopark under the relevant Ministry of Uzbekistan. Discussions during the meeting centered around ongoing and planned projects within the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in incubation and acceleration fields, signed between the "Innovation Center" and "INNO" Technopark under the state agency.
Simultaneously, a meeting took place between Chairperson Ulvi Mehdiyev and the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Discussions led to an agreement on the application of social innovations in public administration, joint incubation and acceleration programs, and the introduction of various digital solutions utilized in the "ASAN application," "ASAN service" centers, and the implementation of ASAN Radio activities in Uzbekistan.
