“Little entrepreneurs, big goals” closing event held in Bilim Baku
On December 2, 2023, the closing event of the “Little entrepreneurs, big goal” program took place.
The event was organized within the framework of the “Global Entrepreneurship Week” of the "Bilim Baku" center, established with the cooperation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Agency Jeyhun Salmanov, Ambassador of Turkiye to Azerbaijan Jahit Bagchi, representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish companies operating in different fields, pupils, and parents.
First, participants familiarized themselves with the project stands collectively prepared by students at the exhibition-sale fair. The students presented and sold their projects based on a presentation, receiving evaluations from participants on a 5-point scale.
Then there were the speeches of the officials.
After that, the ceremony of awarding the winners took place.
Based on participant evaluations, the team "IALE" secured the 1st place, followed by the "King of Deserts" team in 2nd place, and the "Little Entrepreneurs" team in 3rd place. The winning teams were presented with prizes.
Certificates and gifts from “Ulduz” Chocolate Factory, "Final tea" and “Eureka Lyceum” were presented to all participants.
Various trainings on ”Presentation skills“, ”Marketing“, ”Logo design“, ”Business development“, ”Project development“ and ”Customer segment“ were held by teachers and business representatives in the ”entrepreneurship” laboratory of the center for 10-14 to 30 students registered for participation in the ” Little entrepreneurs, big goal" program, and games were organized.
The purpose of the program was to effectively organize students’ free time during the holidays, to teach them the ability to conduct research on various topics. Also, the main priorities were to explain their ability to speak in front of an audience, develop the skills of proper self-expression and presentation, and achieve big goals from small projects.
