Cooperation between "ASAN service" and IDB is developing

Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with the country operations manager of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Farid Khan on December 5, 2023.

The Chairman of the State Agency spoke about the successful cooperation between the parties within the framework of the Agreement Memorandum signed between the State Agency and the IDB this year.

Farid Khan emphasized that the ”ASAN service" concept is a unique model in the provision of public services. Additionally, the importance of the “ASAN visa” system and the “ABAD” project in the field of support for family businesses was highlighted.

Discussions were held on the project planned to be implemented regarding the application of "ASAN service" experience in the Republic of Tajikistan during the meeting.

Moreover, at the meeting to be held within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the IDB in 2024, the other party took the initiative to organize an event on advanced management, facilitated by the State Agency. Opinions were exchanged on pertinent topics during the event.
