“ASAN service” will organize an international forum within the framework of COP29.
The Ministerial Forum on Green Advanced Governance will be held in Baku on November 14,2024 within the framework of the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
The event to be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium in the Blue Zone, will be organized jointly by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) and Apolitical Group Limited.
The Ministerial Forum on Green Advanced Governance will bring together representatives from governments, international organizations, academic circles and leading experts to promote interactive dialogue and collaboration. The discussions will contribute as a platform for sharing the best practices, innovations and strategies related to the transformation of public services towards green governance and climate goals.
The Forum will emphasize how innovative models such as Azerbaijan’s “ASAN service” model can contribute to sustainable infrastructure, the promotion of inclusivity, and international cooperation in addressing climate change. It will also focus on the importance of international cooperation in scaling up green technologies, advancing good governance, and aligning public services with environmental and social sustainability.
The heads of 7 international organizations, relevant ministry officials and representatives of various companies and scientific research institutes from nearly 20 countries will participate at the event.
