The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bahamas at “ASAN service”


Mitchell Frederick Audley Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, visited the “ASAN service” center to familiarize himself with its operations. The Minister is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku. 
The guest was provided with comprehensive information on the various activity areas of the State Agency, including the “ASAN Service” centers established under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as its ongoing social innovation projects. It was emphasized that the establishment of “ASAN Service” has driven significant progress in public administration by increasing transparency and implementing modern innovative solutions. 
Furthermore, it was highlighted that the State Agency received the United Nations Public Service Award in 2015, the UN Special Award for advancing public services through digital governance in 2019, and the “World's Leading Public Service” special award under the Global Government Excellence Award program in 2023.  Additionally, the successful implementation of the “ASAN Service” model in various countries was highlighted.
The guest told that the “ASAN Service” center had made a strong impression on him and that the possibilities of implementing this concept in his country would be considered.
The guest was also provided with detailed information about the activities of the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, Mobile “ASAN Service”, ABAD” public legal entity.
