“ASAN Service” in the Spotlight at International Event

On June 12–13, 2025, the Steering Committee meeting of the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway was held in Bangkok, Thailand, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
The primary purpose of the event was to review the implementation status of the Action Plan for the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway Initiative for 2022–2026 and to determine priorities for 2027–2030 in areas such as the integration of smart solutions in public services, regional cooperation, and societal readiness for Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
A representative of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, serving as the co-chair of the Working Group, spoke about the significance of the “ASAN Service” model as an intellectual product. He discussed the potential for implementing this model as a successful solution for bureaucratic reform in public service delivery across Asia-Pacific countries. During the event, it was highlighted that the “ASAN Service” model has been repeatedly recognized with awards by the United Nations and other prestigious international organizations, is acknowledged as a best practice, and has been successfully implemented in a number of countries.
