President of Rwanda visits "ASAN Service"
On September 20, 2025, Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, visited the "ASAN Service" center during his official trip to our country.
Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, provided the guest with comprehensive insights into the "ASAN Service" centers, which were established under the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, along with the various projects in the realm of social innovations.
The guest was presented with an overview of the "ASAN Service" model. It was highlighted that, in terms of exporting ASAN – our national brand – as an intellectual product, agreements have been made with over 30 countries and international organizations.
Furthermore, it was noted that the United Nations recognizes the "ASAN Service" concept, which has emerged as Azerbaijan's international brand, as a leading model and promotes it across four continents.
Following a meeting between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Rwanda, who was in our country to attend COP29 in November 2024, cooperative ties for sharing the "ASAN Service" experience with Rwanda were established.
In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in June of this year between the State Agency and the relevant Rwandan authority.
