On November 27th, 2013 the Head of Operations Department of EU Delegation in Azerbaijan Federico Berna was acquainted with the building and functioning of the Baku “ASAN service” center No 3 of the State agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Chairman of the State Agency - Mr.Inam Karimov informed about the aim of the ASAN service centers, services rendered within centers, history of development, as well as the future plans. It was noted that the aim of activities of “ASAN service” centers is to provide comfort, ensure transparency, eliminate corruption, apply modern technology, one-single space principle and form up new thinking as to relations between citizens and civil servants.
It was noted that more than 800 000 citizens have been served at “ASAN service” centers.
The guest emphasized the importance of studying and exchanging experiences between the Azerbaijan and the European Union. After becoming familiar with the conditions and work principle in “ASAN service” center, the guest highly appreciated the professional approach of staff members, and wished success in their future activity.
