Memorandum of Understanding between the State Agency and Bar Association

     On October 3, 2018 as per agreement reached between the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani Bar Association, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to provide legal services in “ASAN service” and “ASAN Kommunal” centers, as well as in mobile way.

     The Memorandum was signed by Mr. Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Mr. Anar Baghirov, Chairman of Azerbaijani Bar Association.

     According to the agreement, the legal services in “ASAN service” and “ASAN Kommunal” centers, as well as in mobile way will be rendered in conformity with the principles of efficiency, transparency, politeness, responsibility and convenience.

     In this regard, the provision of free verbal legal advice, the drafting of claims and other documents related to legal proceedings, applications to the state and non-state entities, as well as the court representation will be ensured.

     Furthermore, according to the agreement, legal awareness campaigns will be provided to State Agency staff and ASAN Volunteers.
