Delegation of the State Agency paid a visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan

     On January 14-17, 2019 the delegation of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Republic of Uzbekistan. The visit was held at the invitation of the Public Service Agency subordinate to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

     Within the framework of the visit, the experience of “ASAN Service” was shared with Uzbekistan. Furthermore, familiarization with the activities carried out in the relevant field and future cooperation opportunities were discussed.

     During the meeting with Ruslanbek Davletov, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan information on activities and achievements of “ASAN service” initiated by President Ilham Aliyev was given. The sides also exchanged views on future cooperation. In addition, there was emphasized that “ASAN service” was awarded with the UN Public Service Award in 2015 for its high achievements in this field.

     The Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan highly appreciated the relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and expressed the intention to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the parties in the provision of public services.

     An agreement was also reached between the agencies for the exchange of experience in the relevant field.

     Then there were organized acquaintance tours to the Public Service Centers in Tashkent and Bukhara.
