Presentation of “ASAN service” was held in Great Britain
On the 9th of June, 2014, Azerbaijani Delegation from the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President if the Republic of Azerbaijan held round table meeting about the operation of “ASAN service”. This round table meeting was held with the initiation of the member of Parliament Bob Blekman, “Total politics” journal and The European Azerbaijani Society (Teas).
During the meeting, information was provided about the establishment and aim of the ASAN service centers, services rendered history of development, as well as the future plans. It was noted that “ASAN service” became Azerbaijani invention and brand and the aim of activities of “ASAN service” centers is to provide comfort, ensure transparency, eliminate corruption, apply modern technology, and form up new thinking as to relations between citizens and civil servants.
Member of the House of Lords, Head of the Azerbaijani- United Kingdom parliament friendship group, Kristopher Pincher recently has visited Baku. During his visit, Mr. Pincher got acquainted with “ASAN service” and this model attracted his attention.
Later, Azerbaijani delegation was involved in discussion about e-government in the Westminster City Council.
Meeting with the participation of UK parliaments, local experts, and other quests was met with high commenfation and it was also emphasized the significance of application of “ASAn service” model as a preventative experience in the world and especially in Great Britain.
