“ASAN service” delegation at International Seminar

From February 6-10, 2023, a seminar took place in France under the "SlGMA" program, organized by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the European Union. The delegation from the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the seminar to share the experience of our country's "ASAN service."

Representatives from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova gathered at the seminar focused on the "design and provision of citizen-oriented services." Participants highlighted the significance of convening such meetings to enhance public services, implement social innovations, and exchange best practices.

The seminar featured a comprehensive overview of the activities of "ASAN service." Notably, it was highlighted that approximately 60 million citizen applications have been registered to date. Moreover, "ASAN service" received the United Nations Public Services Award in 2015 and the UN Special Award in the field of public service development through the use of digital management in 2019. Extensive discussions centered around studying the state agency's experience in these areas, with a particular focus on organizing visits to "ASAN service" centers and adopting the "ASAN Service Index" and "ASAN application" system in other countries.
