Indonesian Minister Explores "ASAN service" innovations


Ulvi Mehdiyev, the Chairperson of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, hosted a delegation led by Abdullah Azvar Anas, the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reforms of the Republic of Indonesia on October 10, 2023.

The delegation's visit to Azerbaijan was part of the ongoing implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the parties on July 24, 2017.

Under the Memorandum's framework, the "ASAN service" model was successfully exported to the Republic of Indonesia. Currently, Indonesia boasts 152 service centers created based on this successful model.

During the meeting, an extensive presentation showcased the notable work carried out by the state agency in the design of public services and the digital solutions implemented in "ASAN Service" centers. Abdullah Anas expressed his keen interest in expanding cooperation with the State Agency, emphasizing the importance of developing a joint action plan for the upcoming years. He highlighted that the introduction of the "ASAN service" model in Indonesia had significantly improved accessibility and citizen satisfaction in the field of public services.

The Indonesian delegation also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various key institutions, including the "ASAN service" Center, Mobile ASAN Service, "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, "ASAN Innovative Development Center," and the "Bilim Baku" Center.
