Moldova gains insights from "ASAN Service" experience
From October 24 to 26, 2023, a delegation led by Sergu Manikin, Deputy Director of the Agency for Public Services of the Republic of Moldova, visited our country with the aim of delving into the application of the "ASAN Service" concept in Moldova. The delegation got acquainted with projects undertaken by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the realms of public service delivery and social innovations.
As part of the visit, a meeting was convened between the Chairman of the State Agency, Ulvi Mehdiyev, and the Moldovan delegation. The guests were provided with a detailed overview of the objectives behind establishing "ASAN Service" centers and the ongoing activities. Noteworthy achievements were highlighted, emphasizing the role of "ASAN Service" in bolstering effective public administration through heightened transparency and the incorporation of modern innovations.
Acknowledging the successful collaboration with Moldova's relevant body, the Chairman of the State Agency expressed readiness to continue supporting the sharing of Azerbaijan's experience in public services.
Throughout the visit, the delegation was introduced to various departments of the State Agency. They had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the operations of Baku's "ASAN Service" centers No. 3 and 7, the Shamakhi "ASAN Life" complex, the mobile ASAN service, the 108 Call Center, the "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, the ASAN Innovative Development Center, "ABAD," and ASAN Radio.
Concluding the visit, a preliminary agreement was reached between the State Agency and the State Services Agency of the Republic of Moldova to sign a memorandum of understanding. This memorandum aims to facilitate the exchange of experience in implementing the "ASAN Service" model.
