Nepal and Morocco delegations at “ASAN service”
Delegations from the Parliament of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration, and Family Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco visited the "ASAN service" center and "ABAD" under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan November 21, 2023.
During the meeting with the Nepalese delegation, various activities of the state agency were presented, including insights into the "ASAN service" centers and projects dedicated to social innovations. The presentation highlighted significant achievements in enhancing effective public administration through the establishment of the "ASAN service," contributing to increased transparency and the incorporation of modern innovations.
Furthermore, the emphasis was placed on the awards received by the state agency, notably the United Nations Public Services Award in 2015, the UN Special Award in the field of public services development with the introduction of digital management in 2019, and the "World's Most Advanced Public Service" Award within the framework of the "Global Government Excellence Award" Program in 2023. The successful application of the "ASAN service" model was particularly commended.
Deputy Chairman of the State Agency, Jeyhun Salmanov, fondly recalled his visit to Nepal on January 26-28, 2020, expressing confidence in the fruitful outcomes of the ongoing cooperation. He highlighted the collaborative efforts in sharing the "ASAN service" concept, the "ASAN visa" system, and other projects implemented by the State Agency with the Nepalese counterparts.
In the meeting with the Moroccan delegation, detailed information was provided about the "ASAN service" concept and the initiatives of the "ABAD" public legal entity. Noteworthy achievements were outlined, particularly in the development of micro, small, and medium-sized businesses through the implementation of the "ABAD" model.
The Moroccan guests also got acquainted with the operations of the "INNOLAND" Incubation and Acceleration Center, ASAN Innovative Development Center, and the "Bilim Baku" Center.
