The 6th Solidarity Forum of Azerbaijan Volunteers took place

The 6th Solidarity Forum of Azerbaijan Volunteers dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev took place in Baku.

The event took place within the framework of the "Azerbaijan Volunteer Week 2023" held on December 5-19 with the organizational support of the Youth Fund, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, "ASAN service" and the organization of the Union of Voluntary Organizations of Azerbaijan.

Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ulvi Mehdiyev also delivered a speech the forum.

Ulvi Mehdiyev spoke about the implementation and promotion of volunteer activities in state institutions within the framework of the youth policy implemented by President Ilham Aliyev in our country. It was emphasized that the activity of the "ASAN service" as a voluntary movement began from the first day. In this context, more than 5,000 training programs and over 800 local and international projects have been implemented in the direction of gaining experience for young people.

 An appeal was addressed to President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of Azerbaijani volunteers at the forum. At the same time, 100 Azerbaijani volunteers were awarded for their active initiatives during the year.
