Kazakhstan delegation at “ASAN Service”

A delegation led by Darhan Jazikbay, Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, familiarized themselves with the activities of the “ASAN Service” center, which operates under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Jeyhun Salmanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Agency, provided detailed information on the objectives of establishing “ASAN Service” and the various activities of the State Agency.

The guests were informed that ASAN Service received the United Nations Public Service Award in 2015, the United Nations Special Award for the Development of Public Services through Digital Governance in 2019, and was recognized as the "World's Most Advanced Public Service" with a special award under the Global Government Excellence Award Programme in 2023.

The delegation highly appreciated the “ASAN Service” concept and noted that the State Agency's initiatives in the fields of public service delivery and social innovation had left a very positive impression on them.

The representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan also visited the “INNOLAND” Incubation and Acceleration Center, “ABAD”, “Bilim Baku” center, and the Mobile ASAN Service.

It should be noted that the delegation was visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the international seminar entitled “Competency-Based Recruitment and Performance Evaluation in the Civil Service”, jointly organized by the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Astana Regional Hub of Civil Service in Kazakhstan.
