“ITelligence – 2” hackathon has concluded

On July 4, 2024, the final hackathon event took place.

The awards ceremony of the hackathon, organized in collaboration with the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs, and the “Azerbaijani Children's Development Platform” Public Union, was held.

The purpose of the competition was to take initiatives for ensuring children’s rights, to create conditions for putting forward proposals regarding innovative solutions, foster creative thinking in them, as well as develop teamwork and digital skills.

A total of 530 children applied for the 4-day hackathon in 130 teams. As a result of the initial evaluation, 22 teams earned the opportunity to compete in the finals. Within the framework of the hackathon, 93 participants received training on 7 different topics.

At the final event, the teams presented their prototypes and they were then evaluated by the jury.

Based on the evaluation results, three winning teams were awarded.
