A delegation led by Jeyhun Salmanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the United Nations (UN) Public Service Forum held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
During a roundtable discussion featuring ministers from member states, Jeyhun Salmanov provided a comprehensive overview of Azerbaijan's achievements in the public service sector, as well as the conceptual model of "ASAN Service".
The innovations integrated into the country's public service system, the development trajectory of the "ASAN Service" brand, the significance of public-private partnerships in this domain, and the implementation of cutting-edge technological solutions garnered significant interest from international participants.
It was noted during the event that the State Agency was honored with the UN Public Service Award in 2015, followed by a special UN recognition in 2019 for advancing public service delivery through the implementation of digital governance.
As part of the visit, the State Agency delegation held a series of meetings with heads of relevant government institutions from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Djibouti, the Solomon Islands, the Republic of Mali, and the Republic of Namibia. The parties engaged in broad discussions to identify potential prospects for cooperation.
Furthermore, during working sessions themed "Next-Generation Public Services: innovations, technologies, and citizen-centric solutions" and "5 years to 2030: accelerating public service delivery for a sustainable future," the successes of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the "ASAN Service" brand were highlighted and presented.
