The State Agency was represented in the training course titled “Innovation and change management in public sector” in Singapore
On May 18-22, 2015, a training course on “Innovation and change management in public sector” was held in Singapore. Training was organized in the frame of the Singapore Cooperation Program by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore and was conducted by Civil Service College Singapore.
Deputy Director of the Department for E-services Development and Social Innovations of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Fariz Jafarov represented Azerbaijan at the training attended by 35 participants out of 34 countries.
The purpose of training was the promotion of innovations and changes in state entities, the formation and development of human capital for innovation in public administration, and drawing the attention of participants to the Singapore experience in such fields as a citizen-centric innovation in public sector.
In the frame of the training there were conducted various presentations by the representatives of state, well-known experts and heads of private companies. Hence, there was delivered information regarding the advanced experience of Azerbaijan in the field of public services – “ASAN service” model, demonstrated short videos about Azerbaijan, “ASAN service” and Baku 2015 First European Games.
