“ABAD” exhibition and sales center has launched at Baku Railway Station
“ABAD” exhibition and sales center has kicked off to operate at Baku Railway Station on August 22, 2017.
The first center out of three was established in “Ichari Sheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Department, the second centers in “Duty Free” area located at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, which serves to meet the needs of the tourists visiting Azerbaijan by air transport.
Rufat Elchiyev, Director of “ABAD” public legal entity highlighted, that over 5000 art examples in 1650 brand names of 130 families, and agriculture products (jam, honey) in 40 names of 9 families are put on sale at this 3rd “ABAD” exhibition-sales center.
He also mentioned, that 90% of the products are bought of the exhibition-sales center are tourists coming to our country and taking into account the majority of requests, it is considered to launch “ABAD” exhibition-sales center at 5 star hotels too.
“ABAD” exhibition and sales center launched at Baku Railway Station was specially designed and walls prepared with shabaka, lighting system installed.
The center presents various brilliant handicrafts, honey and jam over all the regions of Azerbaijan, where tourists are interested much. All the products presented here are marked by the logo of the artisan who has produced it and the family logo, designed with a special ABAD label. This logo and “ABAD” label indicates the originality of the product.
Should note, that “ABAD” public legal entity established according to the Decree 1047 issued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on 23 September 2016 to operate within the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The aim in establishment of “ABAD” public legal entity is implementation of social oriented projects via supporting social projects such citizens’ active participation in socio-economic life of the Republic of Azerbaijan, development of small and medium householders, increasing the level of employment and support the development of competitive family farms.

Currently, two regional “ABAD” centers function in Masally and Balakan, and three exhibition-sales centers operate in Baku city.
