The 20th anniversary of UNICEF establishment in Azerbaijan was celebrated at the "ASAN service" center

In December 18, 2013, the exhibition was held about the 20th anniversary of UNICEF in Azerbaijan at the "ASAN service" center No.2 which is subordinated to the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event has carried out organized by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, UNICEF delegations in Azerbaijan, IDEA Public Union (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) and   Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation (ALC).

A special photo exhibition which demonstrated at the event were prepared on the occasion of 20-year anniversary of UNICEF in Azerbaijan and were reflected its main priorities of organization in the country.

The United Nations Children's Fund started its activity in Azerbaijan in 1993 and   significantly contributed to the field of health, education, child protection and health of youth.

The Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Mr. Inam Karimov, the head of UNICEF Representative in Azerbaijan - Mark Hereward, the Head of IDEA projects - Anara Ismailova made speech at the opening ceremony.

Participants noted with specifically satisfaction about preoccupied attention to the children at the all "ASAN service" centers, children's entertainment centers which the parents can let their children to spend interesting time and creation of  mother and child rooms.
