Data-driven Big Data Analytics Hackathon has been launched


On June 29, 2018, for the first time Big Data Analytics Hackaton has been jointly organized by “ASAN service” and ADA University partnership and PASHA Bank sponsorship.

The goal of Hackathon is to involve researchers, business analysts, programmers, visualization professionals and other stakeholders from academia, business, and the public sectors to address real industry problems by applying analytical and machine learning techniques.

At the opening ceremony of the event held at the ADA University, representatives of “ASAN service” and PASHA Bank made presentations to the participants of the competition, highlighting the importance of data for state and government agencies, digital media, data rooted role in digital transformation, and successful data-based solutions. Representatives of ADA University also provided information on research and educational projects of the university on large-scale data and data analysis.

The 24-hour hackathon started by explaining the problems presented by “ASAN service” and PASHA Bank employees, as well as the rules of hackathon. In Hackaton, racing participants have solved their knowledge and skills within 24 hours, solving real problems of the public and banking sector by applying different analysis and machine learning techniques.

At the end of the two-day hackathon, the participants made their debut speeches.

In the end, the team that won in the "public" sector was awarded by "ASAN Service".
