Jeyhun Akif oglu Salmanov was born on December 22, 1986.
Jeyhun Salmanov received a Bachelor`s degree on Economic Cybernetics from Baku State University in 2004-2008 and Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University and Georgia State University in 2008-2010. He received his second master's degree in Information Systems and Digital Innovation Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2015-2016. He also completed the Adaptive Strategic Execution Program intended for executives at Fuqua School of Business and Strategy Execution of Duke University in the United States in 2020.
In 2010-2012 he worked as a specialist of the State Finance Department at the Ministry of Finance.
From November 19, 2012 he worked as the Head of the Strategic Research Sector at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and from August 27, 2013 as the Head of the e-Government and Digital Innovations Department of the State Agency. On June 20, 2018, he was appointed as Adviser to the Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He was awarded with the medal "For Civil Service Honors" by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 27, 2018.
By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated March 18, 2019, he was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He speaks English and Russian languages.
Mr. Salmanov is married and has three children.
